Katherine Alexis Grey,"From what I was told mom loved Katherine Hepburn and Alexis is also an aunt that died before I was born."

Junior, about to turn 17. "I turn 17 near the end of the school year, not too bad really."

Will not answer to Katherine anymore, her father is to blame. "Call me Kate, only person who got away with my real name is dead and the other might as well be dead to me."

Lives with her uncle after her escape during winter break. "Yes I did run away, had no other choice really. Things just went from bad to worse."

Serious student of the martial arts, especially Jeet Kune Dune. "Blame seeing some old Jackie Chan movies when I was little but I fell in love with martial arts. I went from karate to jeet kune dune back in 7th grade."

Also studies sai and katana, made a point of grabbing her set the night she ran away. "He has made threats to sell them in the past, so I took them with me. He's not getting them since martial arts is what has kept me sane."

Also not a suprise but loves anime, especially Cowboy Bebop. Her favorite character is Spike,"Besides the Jeet Kune Dune link he and I have a ton in common, ok minus what happened in Real Folk Blues of course."

Owns a Welsh Corgi puppy,"Yes I named him Ein, he looks like the little dog from the show! Saved him from the shelter right after I moved here, he and I have a ton in common and it was like he could sense it in me."

"Besides my puppy my baby is my Impala, that car has saved me more than once and we drove all night from DC to Boston the night I ran off"

"I'm still having to trust people but a few gets what happened, they knows most of the whole mess. Granted physical and emotional are different but some have been in my boots so to speak."

"As for tv shows I love Chuck since he's too funny, Pushing Daisies since Ned is adorable and seems so sweet, Moonlight since I love vampire stories and ok it does not hurt Josef makes a suit look very good, Heroes since I work in a comic shop and Hiro rules!, Doctor Who and Torchwood since the UK actually has open minds, yes I'm a Jack/Ianto shipper at heart, Buffy and Angel due to more vampires, and Never Mind the Buzz Cocks along with Top Gear since they cracks me up. But do I confess to watching and voting for DWTS?"

"I'm open to the paranormal since I've felt mom's spirit a few times. As for things like aliens it's very possible and I would love to time travel, but only with the Doctor! A girl can dream right?"

"Crushes, I have one on David Tennant plus Jason Dohring. The one that suprises people is Cillian Murphy, its the eyes and his accent."

"Job wise I work in an indie comic shop near school. It's just a few afternoons a week plus Saturday mornings but its fun and keeps my gas tank filled. My uncle told me I would not have to work but knows this job is something I love and he respects that."

"Fashion wise I'm a walking ad for various animes and rock bands aka jeans and t-shirts. Otherwise till the rest of the scars heal up I'm wearing long sleeves no matter the weather, but under my shirt is the chain with my mom's wedding ring. So not giving that up by a longshot.

"As for comics I'm a Constantine fan but I'm into others like the X-Men and Spiderman. But at heart I'm partial to manga, granted the Cowboy Bebop series just made things more confusing than the anime"

"I speak quite a bit of Japanese, mostly from martial arts and the anime."

"Beyond the gym I still can't let people touch me, its like something within me kicks in and makes me panic. Still can't explain why to be honest. That also means no chance of learning how to ballroom dance anytime soon"

(The worse part ranges from beatings to unwanted touching over the last 3 years. After the death of her mother in a car accident back over Halloween was when things took a real turn for the worst when it came to the beatings and touching. Kate spent more time out of the house to avoid him but he found ways to do more damage anyway. The last straw was being pushed down a flight of stairs and it led Kate to finally turn her father in and an all night drive to Boston(she had already sent things to her uncle's over the past few weeks). Beyond that call she's never spoken of what happened, passing off healing scars as gym accidents or as she would say,"Everyone has a ditz moment now and then. She's not able to trust many people out of fear of being rescarred on the outside as well as the inside. But the physical damage is almost gone, just a few leftover bruises from the night she ran away since they were worse than the usual range of beatings. Her secert explains how much of the damage really is on the inside since she's changed so much since the abuse started.)
